WHO IS THE LITTLE BLACK DESK SOCIETY WOMAN?
Our members are ambitious determined women who own their business and operate it full-time. They know to achieve the best results from our Masterminds they must:
- actively engage in online and offline conversations
- show up prepared and present for every Mastermind
- commit to doing the work it takes to achieve their goals and build their business
These women have stronger relationships and receive a higher level of feedback from their Mastermind due to a mutual understanding of business goals and challenges.
The Masterminds are carefully created in each community. It is important to us that you are surrounded by peers who are at a similar stage in business as you.
- Add your name to the wait-list application. This information tells us the current stage in business so we are able to compose Masterminds of similar peers. You may view Mastermind groups & pricing, HERE, and calendar, HERE.
- Complete registration. Once enrollment opens, you will be sent a link.
- Complete our Code of Conduct. This provides guidelines for a collaborative and respectful Mastermind experience for all members.
- Submit payment. Financial investments start at $174 for a 3-month membership.
- Sign Non-Disclosure Agreement. Once enrollment closes, you will receive a non-disclosure to sign that is between you and your Mastermind peers.

I’m so thankful to have an awesome network of entrepreneurs that have become friends. Even a few I haven’t met in person! I believe having a strong group encouraging you on this journey is crucial to your success especially on hard gloomy days. So thankful for @theceoffice and @littleblackdesksociety and to the amazing women I get to call friends. Give a shoutout to your business friends, tag then below, and put a smile on their face. Isn’t this the best care package!?!? All the best things!
If you haven’t seen my stories yet, one of my recent honors was to be interviewed by @littleblackdesksociety. Hitting the 8 year mark in my business really gave me an opportunity to reflect on my accomplishments, my failures, and what I have learned as a result. I talk with Melissa about the things that have contributed to my longevity in business, some opportunities for growth, and my legacy. As a woman in business, and as someone that grew up feeling like being in the spotlight was self-indulgent, promoting myself hasn’t always come easy to me. What I loved most about this interview was that the thoughtful questions caused me to spend time examining both the highs and lows of my journey and gave me a very authentic outlet to talk about them. I may have a bit of a vulnerability hangover, but I’m proud and honored to be sharing my experience! 😊️ . One of the things I talk about is hiring a business coach and finding a mastermind. Community and coaching have been transformational in the growth of my business. I am currently part of an LBDS mastermind, and it has truly propelled me forward this year in ways I couldn’t have imagined. If you are looking for a community in your city, I hope you will consider joining! . From their website: Little Black Desk Society is a national organization supporting local communities of women small business owners that meet monthly via masterminds. In a society that is more technology dependent than ever, we realize the need for in-person support and encouragement. Our local communities create a space where women feel less alone in their entrepreneurial journey. Our mission is to empower and encourage you to excel in small business through accountability, execution of goals, and strong relationships.
Take a break. Take a walk. Feel the sunshine. Meet a friend for lunch outside. Go to the gym. (For those of you who like that sort of thing. 😳) Read a book. Write in a notebook on the couch. Draw on the floor. Whatever it is. Mix it up a little. I don’t know about you but sitting at my desk all day makes me tired. Sometimes we all need to walk away, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Today I got to go to my monthly @littleblackdesksociety meeting and chat with other biz owners IN PERSON! It’s so refreshing to have great LIVE in person conversation chatting with people who really get it and it felt good to get away from my desk! Do you have any tips to step away from your desk to refresh yourself and your biz outlook?
