Are you committed to seeing results in your business? Can you push through challenges and failure? Do you have the patience to do the little things that seem insignificant, just like an athlete perfecting his footwork so that when game time comes you are ready? Are you able to do the same thing for months on end, just like an author writing draft after draft so that your work improves?
Or do you jump ship when you do not see results as quickly as you would like? Deciding to take advantage of the latest trend or opportunity in hopes that you will see faster results, more money, increased visibility.
Anything in life worth having takes time, discipline, and perseverance. You must earn trust to be given opportunities, to command higher prices, to have access to bigger things. Trust comes from consistently performing well, showing you are prepared, and proving worthy of the opportunity.
In all relationships whether personal or professional, the grass is greenest where you water it. Look for the small things in your circumstances, be grateful for them and water them. Be patient nothing blooms overnight. Your time is coming, I promise. Be committed to doing the work hard and others will take notice.
