It helped me identify my personal archetypes which help me determine my natural strengths and weaknesses so I can represent myself more authentically to my clients. It also taught me how to identify my client’s archetypes and that helps me to serve them better.

Asana is a project and team workflow software. While I personally just have a team of two, during a re-launch of my business it’s been an amazing way to lay out my to-do’s by category, track my progress, and communicate with my partner on which tasks need to be done by who. It pretty amazing.

I just recently discovered Dubsado, which has been a game changer for me. I imported all of my contracts, proof templates, questionnaires and workflows into the system and it practically does all of the work for me. I love being able to track all of my invoices, contracts, leads and clients in one place.

I’m currently loving the Sortd Gmail extension. It helps me keep my inbox down as well as a clear to-do list based off the emails I received.

I hate the little red dots and screaming numbers on my email and apps. They just scream stress. I’m really trying in 2017 to learn where to focus my A+ energy and where I can let things go. Email is one of those that I feel I have to be Uber responsive. This book was short, easy to read and helped me think through how to categorize the VIP (Uber responsiveness), 24-48 hour response and then maybe respond or don’t need a response. It also re-emphasized the need to not let everything be done digitally. Picking up the phone or simply seeing the person face to face and clean up your inbox fast. I’ve been doing this in the office and it’s drastically reduced my inbox and helped the team mentality because we are interacting not reacting.
